Want to be part of new research into healthy weight management?

We’re inviting adults to join a fully remote study exploring whether elénzia CONTROL® can support healthy weight management. Taking part is simple, with everything managed through the Ingredients for Life™ mobile app. Participants will receive either elénzia CONTROL® or a placebo (a lookalike capsule with inactive ingredients) as part of the research.

Who can take part in the study?

Aged 25-65
Never used GLP-1 medications (e.g. Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy®) and are overweight but actively trying to lose weight
Recently stopped GLP-1 medications (e.g. Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy®) and wanting to maintain weight loss progress

Participating is so simple!

1. Download the Ingredients for Life™ app, create an account and answer a few eligibility questions.

2 - Read the Participant Information Sheet, provide your consent and complete your first questionnaire.

3 - We'll send the study materials to you and once they arrive, the app will guide you through the next steps.

All information is collected via the app so no clinic visits required.
All study materials, including capsules and tape measures are provided free of charge.
You’ll need access to a set of scales to record your weight during the study.
Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time.
Study places are limited. Eligible participants will be enrolled subject to availability.
All personal data is handled securely, in line with UK GDPR.

What is the purpose of this study?

This study is exploring whether the nutritional supplement elénzia CONTROL® can support adults in managing their weight, including helping maintain weight after stopping GLP-1 medications.

Will I receive the supplement or a placebo?

Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the active supplement or a placebo (a lookalike capsule without active ingredients). Neither you nor the study team assessing outcomes will know your group until the study is complete.

How long will the study last?

Participation is for 16 weeks. You’ll take the study capsules daily and complete app-based questionnaires bi-weekly throughout the study.

Do I have to attend any clinics or in-person visits?

No. This study is fully remote. All study materials, including capsules and tape measures will be delivered to your home. Participants must have access to their own home weight scale, as this will be used to record weight measurements during the study and will not be provided.

Is taking part safe?

Yes. The supplement is a nutritional product and contains ingredients that are generally well tolerated when taken at the recommended dose. You’ll be able to contact the study team at any time for guidance. Any side effects can be reported through the app, email, or phone.

Can I withdraw at any time?

Absolutely. Participation is entirely voluntary. You can stop at any time without giving a reason, and your data collected up to that point can be removed if you request.

Will my personal data be safe?

Yes. All data is collected securely through the Ingredients for Life™ app, in line with UK GDPR. Only authorised study staff and regulatory bodies can access your data.

Will I be paid for participating?

Participants may be eligible for engagement-based incentives, such as M&S vouchers and entry into prize draws for completing questionnaires and logging supplement intake. Participation in these incentives is voluntary, and you can still take part in the study without claiming them.
